May 7, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Nature In The City – World of Wildflowers Family Walk

Please join Nature Guelph at the Starkey Hill parking lot on Sunday, May 7 at 1:00 pm for a free, guided outdoor family program – wildflower walk. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water. The Starkey Hill hiking trail is moderately difficult with several steep sections, tree roots and rocks, but participants can choose to walk the easier sections.

To get there:

Starkey Hill is a property owned by the Grand River Conservation Authority, and is located at 735 Arkell Road, approximately 1.5 km east of Watson Road South. It is one of Guelph’s most beautiful spots for spring wildflowers. You won’t be disappointed!

We hope you will also join us at the downtown Main Guelph Public Library location for the related free indoor family program on Saturday, April 29 at 1:00 pm where we will learn about the wide variety of wildflowers that grow in our city. More details on the indoor program can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1863524893914936/
