Nature In The City – Slime and Scales Family Frog Walk
April 22, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Nature in the City – Slime and Scales Family Frog Walk
Please join Nature Guelph at the University of Guelph Arboretum Centre West Entrance at 7:00 pm for a free, guided outdoor family program – an evening frog walk. Wear rubber boots, and bring headlamps or flashlights! The trails are well groomed and flat but we will be walking through a bit of forest to find some frogs.
To get there: The parking lot on Arboretum Road at the West Entrance is accessed via East Ring Road. From East Ring Road, head east on Arboretum Road. Travel approximately 0.3 km, passing Alumni House, and park in the small parking lot on the right, which is located at the West Arboretum Entrance and at the Information Kiosk.
We hope you will also join us at the downtown Main Guelph Public Library location for the related free indoor family program earlier that same day on Saturday, April 22 at 1:00 pm where we will learn about some of our most under-appreciated creatures: reptiles and amphibians! More details on the indoor program can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/424827094535158/
