Mountsberg: Birds of Prey and Pancakes

March 10 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

March can be a slow month for birding, so it never hurts to stack the deck!  Join birder Kyle Horner on a trip to Mountsberg Conservation Area to see the residents of the Raptor Centre, take in a presentation and visit Maple Town.  We’ll explore the woods and reservoir for wild birds too, so don’t forget your binoculars!  Please note that there will be an admission fee to enter the conservation area ($7.75 per adult), and you’ll need a little cash if you want pancakes!  This event is kid-friendly, but will involve some hiking on trails..
Location:
Meet at the Wild Birds Unlimited parking lot at 951 Gordon St., Guelph at 10:00 am, where carpools will be arranged as necessary. We should be back in Guelph by mid-afternoon
Other notes:
This event is kid-friendly, but will involve some hiking on trails. This event is NOT dog-friendly.
Bring your binoculars (and spotting scopes if you have them). Please note that there will be an admission fee to enter the conservation area ($7.75 per adult), and you’ll need a little cash if you want pancakes!
