At our May speaker series meeting, Krystyn Tully of Swim, Drink, Fish Canada helped us to imagine a world where every waterway is clean enough to swim, pure enough to drink, and contains fish you can safely catch and consume.
Krystyn would like Nature Guelph members to tell your stories about a waterbody that has affected you or shaped your life in some way as part of The Watermark Project, which is a community effort to collect and archive true stories about the ways people interact with water. These stories help us all recognize our dependence on water and highlight water’s influence on our culture. By saving and studying these stories, we help protect the waters we love. To learn more, to read the stories left by others and to add your own, go to Watermark Project
